Geochemical and Seasonal Characteristics of Dissolved Iron Isotopes in the Mun River, Northeast Thailand

Dissolved iron (Fe) isotopes in river water have a pivotal role understanding the Fe cycle surficial environment. A total of 13 samples were collected from Mun River to analyze and their controlling factors water, such as dissolved organic carbon (DOC) different supply sources. The results showed that (DFe) concentrations ranged 21.49 μg/L 232.34 dry season 10.48 135.27 wet season, which might be ascribed dilution effect. δ56Fe (−0.34 0.57‰, with an average 0.09‰) was lower than (−0.15 0.48‰, 0.14‰). Combined DFe/DAl ratios, end-members DFe identified, including rock weathering (high low ratio), anthropogenic inputs high ratio) groundwater (low ratio). relationship between DOC suggested chelation matter heavy one important sources water.
